Opening for Product Manager (Financial Services Vertical) at Zyxware (Jul 2011) - PD011107
We are looking for a Product Manager to join and lead a team of developers working with an exciting web based financial information services start up from the US. The Product Manager will be managing the development of a portfolio of web based information services catering to retail and institutional invesors in financial markets in the US.
The person will also be managing teams of developers based in India, US and France. She/He will be responsible for generating requirements, analyzing competing products in the market, designing products and driving the development, testing and deployment of these products/services. The person will be responsible for UAT of the products/services, ensuring that the products/services meet the specifications and is deployed and maintained successfully.
We are looking for the following attributes
- Deep understanding of financial markets
- Product policy and management capabilities
- Experience in developing, launching and managing software products in the financial sector (Financial market)
- Expertise in SDLC and project management practices
- Experience in market research strategies for web products and services
- Experience in managing remote teams
- Good people management skills
- Good communication skills
An ideal candidate would be somebody with between 8 - 10 years of experience with significant experience in managing software development and specifically product development and also experience working in the financial services vertical.
