
The News Minute (TNM), a leading Indian digital news platform, sought to enhance user engagement by gaining deeper insights into how readers interact with their content. The project involved implementing a robust tracking system to monitor user behaviors such as page visits, time spent, scroll depth, and engagement by subscribed users.
We designed and integrated a tracking solution using JavaScript, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Google Analytics 4 (GA4). A custom Data Layer captured key user actions, which GTM processed and sent to GA4 for real-time analytics. The Drupal GA module was also configured to support event-based tracking without affecting existing workflows.
The result was a seamless, reliable tracking system that provided TNM with actionable insights. This led to improved content targeting, increased user engagement, and more accurate conversion tracking. TNM can now make data-driven decisions to refine their content strategy and deliver a more personalized user experience.
