SOFTWARE
Equipped with the 2.3 version of Android or Gingerbread, the Lenovo A60 is a touchscreen phone that is as modern as its seamless exterior. With its refined user interface, and improved keyboard and typing features, the A60 gives you an easy-to-use handset equipped with everything needed to stay connected in a fast-paced technology-driven world.
MEDIA
The A60 is also stocked with features that are standard for today’s mobile phones. The 3MP main camera also records video playback, while a VGA front camera can be used for video calls. The phone’s 220MB internal memory can easily be supplemented with microSD cards of up to 16GB. For added entertainment, the A60 also comes with an FM radio and music player.
Social networking is easy on the A60, with Wi-Fi connectivity and social networking applications that make for easy sharing of photos and statuses. Since it works on the latest Android version, the A60 also becomes its own Wi-Fi hotspot, sharing Internet connectivity to nearby wireless devices.
PERFORMANCE
Transitions and animations become sluggish especially if you have a lot of applications running in the background.this handset runs with 256MB RAM and a 1GHz MediaTek Processor which is actually quite fast even if it’s not dual-core. It also has a pretty decent GPU.The real weakness of the A60 is that it still runs on gingerbread and the processor is not fully exploited.
OUR REVIEW
The A60+ has an excellent dual sim implementation and is very easy and intuitive to use.It also has a brilliant and sleek design that puts most entry-level smartphones to shame. But the 2 MP camera is a let down so is the processor which is fast but the gingerbread is slowing it down. There are just a lot of new alternatives right now in the market today that can provide much more at the same price or even less.
