How to transfer data in LibreOffice Calc to LibreOffice Writer in table format

Suppose you have details in LibreOffice calculator and you want to convert this in LibreOffice writer table format. Moving data from Calculator to Writer will come often when you prepare reports. It can be done in different ways. Read on to know how to transfer data in LibreOffice Calc to Libre Office Writer in table format.

Please check the below steps which explains the conversion of values of Calculator to table format in Writer.

1. Open the details in LibreOffice calculator.
2. Select the data cells in calc and press "Ctrl-C" to copy.
3. Open a new document in Writer.
4. Go to the "Edit" tab and click the "Paste Special".
5. In the dialog box that opened, select the "Formatted Text (RTF)" option.
6. Click "OK," and the data cells will appear in Writer. Please check the below image for reference.

If in case you are not able to view all the cells, please go through the below steps.

1. Right click in any of the cell.
2. Select Column.
3. Select Optimal width.

Then you will be able to view all the cells in Writer.
