Q. First let’s start with some casual questions on life at IIT Palakkad, how do you relax?

Zyxware bags the First Prize for the Pookkalam (Floral Carpet) Competition during the Aarpoo Irroo Onam celebrations in Technopark on August 17th, 2017. Thirty organizations participated in the competition with a spirit of team camaraderie and fun-filled rivalry. The Zyxware team made an elaborate floral carpet embedding a farmer ploughing in a setting Sun background signifying a farmer’s contribution to the prosperity of harvest season which heralds the Onam celebrations in Kerala.
The application developed is used to find the best possible participant (household member) from a particular house during the survey of Non-Communicable Disease Monitoring and Verbal Autopsy. An ODK collect application is used for collecting information from people by filling the forms/tables during the survey and is saved as a .xml file inside the ODK collect. The collected information is sent to the NCD Survey application to process and find out the participant using KISH algorithm and return the result to the ODK collect.
