Linux Mint 17.2. The new release is a long term support release, based on packages from Ubuntu 14.04, and supported through to 2019. Linux Mint ships in two editions, Cinnamon and MATE.
The MATE edition now provides users with the ability to enable/disable Caja file browser extensions at run time and ships with a new audio library that automatically detects and works with OSS, ALSA and PulseAudio sound systems.
