Untangle 7.2 i386 CD a Debian-based network gateway with pluggable modules for network applications, has been released. This is the latest version which includes a new free application for Internet access control, as well as a host of enhanced features and improvements. Captive Portal supports a wide array of authentication mechanisms, from basic local directory-based authentication (on the Untangle server) to authentication through an Active Director server or RADIUS server when coupled with Untangle's Directory Connector. Untangle's AD Connector has been renamed Directory Connector. This is because it now supports both Microsoft Active Directory server, and RADIUS server.
