Project Title

Project Title: End-to-End Recruitment Process at Zyxware Technologies

Position Title: HR Intern - Recruitment Focus

Location: Zyxware Technologies, Technopark, Trivandrum, Kerala

Duration: 3 months

No: of Interns: Two interns will be recruited for this role. Based on their performance during the internship, one of the candidates may be offered a full-time position at Zyxware Technologies as an Associate, HR

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1: Understanding Recruitment Requirements

  • Assist the recruitment team in collaborating with the hiring managers to understand the detailed job descriptions for various roles.
  • Assist the recruitment team in collaborating with the hiring managers to identify the knowledge, skills, attitudes, qualifications, and experience required for the role considered.
  • Conduct market research to analyze talent availability, evaluate industry standards compared to market benchmarks, and identify the characteristics of the targeted audience.
  • Assist in creating compelling job postings tailored to attract suitable candidates.

 

 

Phase 2: Sourcing and Screening Candidates

  • Utilize multiple sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn, job portals, internal referrals, and college networks.
  • Shortlist resumes based on the defined job description for each role.
  • Help the HR team with administrative tasks such as updating employee records, filing documents, and maintaining HR databases.
  • Participate in HR meetings and contribute ideas to improve the recruitment process.

Phase 3: Scheduling and Coordination

  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and the interview panel members.
  • Ensure timely communication with all stakeholders regarding schedules and feedback.
  • Provide candidates with preparation guidelines and company information before interviews.
  • Conduct phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and suitability.
  • Assist in preparing shortlists and coordinating feedback from interviewers.
  • Ensure positive communication and engagement with all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries and provide timely feedback regarding their application status.

Phase 4: Candidate Evaluation and Feedback

  • Assist in documenting and analyzing interview feedback from panel members.
  • Assist in preparing the candidate evaluation reports for hiring managers.

Phase 5: Offer and Onboarding Process

  • Assist in drafting offer letters and handling pre-joining formalities.
  • Assist in creating onboarding presentations and welcome programs for new hires.

Phase 6: Recruitment Analysis and Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of recruitment metrics

  • Present findings and insights to the HR team during review meetings.

Expected Deliverables:

  • Source relevant resumes for the position under consideration.
  • A detailed report on recruitment activities completed during the internship.
  • A well-maintained candidate database.
  • Metrics and insights on recruitment performance.
  • A final presentation summarizing the intern's contributions and learnings.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Educational Background: Pursuing or recently completed a MBA degree / Post Graduate Diploma (PGDM) in Human Resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Spreadsheets
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Guidance

The intern will work closely with the HR Manager and will receive regular feedback and guidance to ensure successful completion of the project and personal development.

Stipend

  • The intern will be paid a stipend of Rs. 10,000.00 (Rupees Ten thousand only) per month. The approval on payment of your stipend will be recommended by the Reporting Manager and approved by the CEO at Zyxware Technologies. During the internship period you shall handle specific assignments on the project assigned to you. You are expected to meet the timelines and work deliveries successfully. Upon successful completion of the internship, you will be issued an internship completion certificate.
  • Based on their performance during the internship, one of the candidates may be offered a full-time position at Zyxware Technologies as Associate, HR.
