HCL Infosystems, in its quest to bring all the conveniences and advantages of a laptops to the hands of a common man, had launched its new small and ultraportable models of laptops - The HCL MiLeap Laptops, during January, 2008. They had announced the prices of MiLeap series laptops. Moreover, they have introduced new variants of its MiLeap X laptop which is more convenient to use and carry and with more hard disk storage as compared to the X model. Toshiba announced prices of various models of its Notebook Computers for the month of January. Some models carry 1 year International warranty and 2 years warranty in India, while other carry a total International warranty of 3 years. All these models are pre-installed with Windows Vista Business Edition except the Tablet PC model which has Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. Wipro announced new prices for their range of laptops. Two models are currently there in their product line. The prices have been lowered from earlier price. Two models are available now. One with Celeron processor and the other with Dual Core processor. These laptops comes with pre-installed Linux, DVD Combo, 80GB Hard Drive, 512MB RAM, WiFi and more.
