Trisquel 5.5 amd64 CD is out now. Trisquel GNU/Linux 5.5 is a 100% "libre" distribution based on Ubuntu. Trisquel 5.5 STS 'Brigantia' is finally here. This release is the first one based on GNOME 3, GTK+ 3 and also Linux-libre 3.0. GNOME 3 was a big challenge, because as it is designed now, it is not usable for our community. The new default interface of GNOME 3 is GNOME Shell, a program that requires 3D acceleration to work, as it relies on graphics composition. Sadly, many graphics cards today still lack a libre driver providing acceleration, so many users who would choose free drivers will be redirected to a fallback desktop environment. This way many users could feel compelled to install non-free drivers to be able to use the new desktop, so we decided to use the fallback environment as default.
About Trisquel
Trisquel GNU/Linux is a 100% libre Ubuntu-based Linux distribution. Its main purpose is to provide an operating system for varied audience, including home and office users, educational institutions, multimedia workstations, etc. The project is managed by independent developers and is partially funded by donations.

Chakra 2012.04 x86_64 DVD can be used with 64bit PC only. Chakra GNU/Linux 2012.04 is an updated release of the project's KDE-centric distribution originally forked from Arch Linux. This second 'Archimedes' release brings some good news and, for some, bad news. Good news - after a year of hard work by the Calligra team, we are really pleased to present the DVD image with the first-ever stable release of the Calligra office suite. Bad news for some, there is no longer a GUI for package management shipped. Appset-qt and any other Pacman GUI front-end were not able to handle more complex updates as they should, and the team felt it was not correct toward the users to ship a package that needed constant warnings. With this release we offer: KDE 4.8.2, Linux kernel 3.2.8 (3.0.22 optional), Qt 4.8.1, QtWebkit 2.2.1.

Semplice Linux 2.0.2 x86_64 CD also available now. Semplice Linux 2.0.2 is a bug-fix and feature update of the project's lightweight distribution (with Openbox) based on Debian's unstable branch. More over 2.0.2 is a maintenance release for the 2.0 branch. This release brings many bug fixes to the installer and ships the long awaited modemmanager and mobile-broadband-provider-info with the standard distribution. This means that you can use mobile broadband out of the box (if your modem is supported, of course). In order to bring Semplice to the majority of the hardware out there, we added some more firmware: atmel-firmware, bluez-firmware, firmware-crystalhd, firmware-libertas, firmware-myricom, linux-wlan-ng-firmware, midisport-firmware and zd1211-firmware.

Elastix 2.3.0 x86_64 DVD also ready to download now. Elastix 2.3.0 is released. It is a new version with important improvements in the interface, security and performance, optimizing the usability on all tables and reports throughout the web interface, as well as the Asterisk, Dadhi, Wanpipe and CentOs versions were updated. In this new version of Elastix, the Addons module has a complete redesign, making it easier to visualize all of the third party applications available for download. For those developers who want to customize their Elastix, they will find in all grid-style modules the ability to modify and add multiple custom actions according to need. Another important update in the distro is that now the rpms that handle hardware drivers are not directly linked to a kernel so you can upgrade to any kernel without creating any kernel incompatibility problems, this is due to the use of weak updates. Among the new features available in this version are: - Update to Asterisk 1.8.11.0-0, Update to CentOS 5.7, Update to Dadhi 2.4.1.2-10, Update to Wanpipe 3.5.25-0, Update to jquery 1.7.1, New redesign of Addons module and improvements in the Calendar, Call Center, Fax, PBX, Reporting, Security and System modules etc....
About Elastix
Elastix is a Linux distribution that integrates the best tools available for Asterisk-based Private Branch Exchanges (PBX) into a single, easy-to-use interface. It also adds its own set of utilities and allows for the creation of third-party modules to make it an excellent software package available for open source telephony. Based on CentOS.

Puppy Linux 5.3 i386 Racy CD is the latest release from the Puppy Linux Team. Racy Puppy made a début at the previous release (5.2.2) and is 'Wary on steroids' -- identical except with later X.Org and kernel, to suit more recent hardware. The newly updated releases of "Wary" and "Racy" editions of Puppy Linux, targeting older computers. are ready and available for download. Wary Puppy 5.2.2 was released on 18 November 2011 (also Racy Puppy made his début). Since then, there has been the usual feverish pace of development. We now have a significant upgrade, hence the version jump from 5.2.x to 5.3. Wary Puppy is our build of Puppy Linux targeting older hardware. Version 5.3 has a fairly small number of application upgrades, however there are fundamental changes at the infrastructure level, that is, the 'Woof' level - in particular, pervasive support for internationalization, plus a multitude of bug fixes. There are now 'langpacks' available for many languages.
About Puppy Linux
Puppy Linux is yet another Linux distribution. What's different here is that Puppy is extraordinarily small, yet quite full-featured. Puppy boots into a ramdisk and, unlike live CD distributions that have to keep pulling stuff off the CD, it loads into RAM. This means that all applications start in the blink of an eye and respond to user input instantly. Puppy Linux has the ability to boot off a flash card or any USB memory device, CDROM, Zip disk or LS/120/240 Superdisk, floppy disks, internal hard drive. It can even use a multisession formatted CD-RW/DVD-RW to save everything back to the CD/DVD with no hard drive required at all.

Fuduntu 2012.2 is the latest of the regular quarterly release updates of the project's rolling-release distribution previously forked from Fedora. The second Fuduntu quarterly ISO image, Fuduntu 2012.2, is now available for immediate download. As with all Fuduntu releases, this release continues our tradition of small incremental improvements. It is important to note that existing Fuduntu users have already rolled up to this version through the normal update process, and do not need to download or reinstall from this media to benefit from this release. Major package updates this release: Linux kernel 3.2.13, Chromium 17, Firefox 11, Thunderbird 11, Pidgin 2.10.2, LibreOffice 3.5.1. During this cycle, the Fuduntu team has made many changes to improve the overall experience with the distribution. The largest, and most welcomed change is the shift from SourceForge as our package host to a new infrastructure.
About Fuduntu
Fuduntu, originally Fedora-based, but later forked, is a Linux distribution that earns its name by its ambition to fit somewhere in-between Fedora and Ubuntu. It is designed to be aesthetically pleasing, and is optimized for netbook and other portable computers, as well as general-purpose desktop machines.
